About Kelly - The Founder

Hi, I’m Kelly. For over 30 years, I lived with chronic pain that made every day a challenge. Simple things like brushing my hair or cutting up my food felt nearly impossible. As a child I spent countless weeks in bed, feeling like life was passing me by. Other times nearly crying with the pain when I walked it was so hard to cope. The pain wasn’t just in my body; it was in my mind and heart, creating constant stress and anxiety.

The emotional toll was huge. I felt isolated, frustrated, and often hopeless. Despite seeing countless doctors and trying every treatment I could find, nothing seemed to provide lasting relief. The cycle of pain and disappointment felt never-ending, and I felt trapped in my own body.

In my search for relief, I stumbled upon yoga. At first, it was just another attempt to find some peace, but it soon became a beacon of hope. As I committed to my practice, I began to notice small changes. The pain started to ease, and I found moments of peace and clarity. Yoga wasn’t an overnight fix, but it became my lifeline, my sanctuary.

This journey sparked a passion in me to share yoga and other holistic practices with others. I trained extensively and became a certified yoga teacher, studying other modalities, driven by a desire to help others find relief and reclaim their lives, just as I had.

At Balance with Kel, I offer various yoga classes designed to meet different needs and skill levels. But I don’t stop at yoga. I also incorporate meditation and breathwork. These tools are here to support you on your journey to wellness, helping both your body and mind.
