Chair Yoga

Our Chair Yoga class is a gentle form of yoga using a chair for additional support. Most of the exercises are done while sitting on, leaning on or holding onto a chair. It is a great way to practice yoga for people of all ages and those with limited mobility. Chair yoga is a great way to get the wonderful health benefits of yoga if you are unable to get down on the mat. Staying seated means that even frail seniors or those who aren’t flexible can safely do the exercises. Yoga is an excellent way for older adults to loosen and stretch painful muscles, reduce stress, and improve circulation. Yoga is something that can never be started too late
